Condition
Good-minus / Fair antiquarian condition; priced accordingly. Original brown blind-stamped cloth boards are present and remain attached. The front inner hinge/endpaper is substantially split with binding material/lining exposed in the gutter. The book should be handled carefully and would benefit from professional hinge repair or reinforcement. Please do not expect a tight, collector-grade binding.
The cloth boards are rubbed and dulled with scattered surface soiling, spotting, and small pale marks. The gilt spine lettering remains readable. Spine ends are rubbed and frayed with small areas of cloth loss. Endpapers and preliminary leaves have age toning and scattered foxing. The pages and preface are cleanly legible.
