Vintage 1988 Hot Wheels Color Racers Baja Bug, also known as the Blazin’ Bug, collector number 1439.

This Larry Wood-designed Volkswagen Baja Beetle casting features:

• Temperature-sensitive metallic orange/brown-to-yellow finish

• Blue and yellow flame graphics with red “Blazin’ Bug” lettering

• Red interior

• Original blackwall wheels

• Unpainted metal base

• Made in Malaysia

• Approximately 2¼ inches long

Condition: Good played-with vintage condition. The body displays uneven orange and yellow coloration consistent with the original temperature-sensitive Color Racers paint, along with some light surface marks and age/play wear. Side graphics remain attractive and readable. Wheels and axles appear intact. Color-changing action has not been formally tested. Please examine all photos carefully for exact cosmetic condition.

The 1983 marking on the base refers to the casting copyright; this Color Racers variation was released in 1988.
